When I tell people I’m a Social Media Strategist I sometimes get that nod and head shake that says okay as visions of me over sharing on Facebook dance through their heads I get it, some people still think that Social Media is a kid thing, it’s a fad, something nice to waste your time on thanks TikTok but, we are in the marketing world know that social media is big business to build big businesses.

As a strategist, it’s all about storytelling, also I have to understand and master SEO, I mean SEO is really this free search that goes on that you need to have plus as a strategist you have to administer all of the accounts and keep them up to date not to mention collaborate with marketing product development teams and create social buzz regarding new product launches.
Oh yeah, that has to happen plus one of the other things I have to do is foster client company communication, respond to queries, get reviews and organize chats and q a sessions don’t forget the reports I usually have to prepare weekly and monthly reports on web traffic and ROI.
So that my clients and my companies know what is happening and that they’re getting results oh and let’s not forget we have to monitor the SEO, the user engagement and of course all the statistics also as a strategist.
I have to stay up to date on new digital technologies and best Social Media practices these are changing all the time. So let me tell you I am always on my toes about this so there you have it.
